Traditionally,
editing stations work on local or remote shared storage platforms and
it is possible to access contents only via the editing systems.
Consequently, each editor only has access to material that he directly
controls. MANTRICS offers a more efficient workflow by enabling users
to share contents and allocate work. This infrastructure, totally web
based, favours the contemporary work of multiple operators, improving
efficiency and increasing profitability. Furthermore, you can edit
directly from your desktop or from the remote disk avoiding the need to
be in the editing room.
MANTRICS
permits the user to create new content using an intuitive user-friendly
interface designed for quick metadata insertion and clip creation; this
user-interface is based on a time-line that accommodates audio, video,
text and graphics. Offering many innovation features, the interface
expediates tasks, for example the "speaker track" lets you determine
the duration of a given text , which is a great help when cutting the
corresponding video. Once the rough editing is finished, MANTRICS
exports the media files and, when required, also an EDL which can be
saved in the most common formats to for the final cut.
MANTRICS
supports direct integration with editing applications, giving post
production operators a chance to take advantage of a combination of
third party applications. Thanks to the integration with different
applications, MANTRICS allows, for example, the user to control content
quality. The material, whatever format it is in, can be ingested,
controlled for quality, selected according to given criteria and then
passed to the editing application.
